The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 is just a bit better than Motorola XOOM, getting a general score of 60.1 against 55.9. These devices work with Android operating system, but Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has a newer 5.0 version and Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0 version. Lenovo TAB 2 A8's construction is much thinner and incredibly lighter than Motorola XOOM.

Lenovo TAB 2 A8 features a little sharper display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch in the display. Lenovo TAB 2 A8 features a lot better hardware performance than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also has an extra graphics processor, a larger number of cores and a 64-bit processor.

Motorola XOOM shoots better videos and photos than Lenovo TAB 2 A8. Both of them have a 5 MP back camera. The Motorola XOOM has a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows up to 32 GB, the Motorola XOOM also has 32 GB internal storage.

Lenovo TAB 2 A8 features a much longer battery duration than Motorola XOOM.
