Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 69.2, which is a lot better than Motorola XOOM's general score of 55.9. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, counting with a lot of extra features. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a notably newer tablet, and it's also lighter and noticeably thinner than Motorola XOOM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a much better performance than Motorola XOOM, because it has a higher number of faster cores, more RAM memory and an extra graphics co-processor.
