The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is just a bit better than Motorola XOOM, getting a score of 60.1 against 55.9. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has 4.1 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, so it counts with some extra features. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a newer device, and it's also lighter and thinner than Motorola XOOM.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a processing unit that's just as good as Motorola XOOM's processing unit, both of them have 1 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Motorola XOOM and the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) feature similar screens, both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, a better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a screen with the same size.
Motorola XOOM features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video quality, the Motorola XOOM also has a way more megapixels back facing camera. The Motorola XOOM counts with a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Motorola XOOM also has more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a much better battery lifetime than Motorola XOOM.
