The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a bit better than the Motorola XOOM, having a 61.4 score against 55.9. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s design is newer, incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola XOOM. These tablets include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the newer 4.1 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, so it counts with some additional features and improved performance.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a screen that's just as good as the screen in Motorola XOOM, both of them have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the same display pixel density and a same size screen. The Motorola XOOM counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a SD card slot that holds 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a processing unit that's very similar to the processing unit in Motorola XOOM, they have a 1 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much better battery performance than Motorola XOOM. The Motorola XOOM takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola XOOM also has a camera with a much better 5 MP resolution.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a little more expensive than the Motorola XOOM, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
