The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is much better than Motorola XOOM, getting a overall score of 66.2 against 55.9. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a way newer device, and it is also notably lighter and a lot thinner than the Motorola XOOM.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a more vivid display than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen. The Motorola XOOM has a bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
