Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an overall score of 64.8, which is much better than the Motorola XOOM's 55.9 overall score. These tablets use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has 4.0.4 version while Motorola XOOM has Android 4.0, counting with some additional features and improved performance. Even when the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and the Motorola XOOM were only released 7 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is notably lighter and extremely thinner.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory and a Dual-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has an extra graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a sharper screen than Motorola XOOM, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a better screen pixels density.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a very superior memory to install applications and games than Motorola XOOM, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a lot more expensive than the Motorola XOOM, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
