Comparison review
The iPad 3 is a bit better than Lumia 2520, with a 71.1 score against 68.6. The iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS, while Lumia 2520 counts with Windows RT 8.1 OS. Although it's the best in our current comparison, iPad 3 is an older, just a little bit heavier and just a bit thicker portable tablet than the Lumia 2520.
The Lumia 2520 has a little more vivid screen than iPad 3, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a bit lower amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. The iPad 3 counts with a little bit better memory capacity to install games and applications than Lumia 2520, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Lumia 2520 features a better processing unit than iPad 3, because it has 2 more processing cores, 1 GB more RAM and an additional GPU. The Apple iPad 3 has a really longer battery lifetime than Lumia 2520, because it has a 11560mAh battery capacity instead of 8000mAh. The Lumia 2520 features a bit better camera than iPad 3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Lumia 2520 also has a back camera with much more megapixels and a much larger camera aperture to capture better photography and video in low light situations.
Although iPad 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Lumia 2520, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Lumia 2520. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPad 3, else you can save some money and buy the Lumia 2520, letting go some features and specifications.
