IPad mini 2 has a global score of 77.2, which is much better than Nokia Lumia 2520's score of 68.6. IPad mini 2 is a thinner and lighter tablet than Nokia Lumia 2520, even though both were released only a few months apart. IPad mini 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, while Nokia Lumia 2520 works with Windows RT 8.1 operating system.
IPad mini 2 has a CPU that's very similar to the processing unit in Nokia Lumia 2520, because although the iPad mini 2 has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a better 600 megahertz graphics processing unit and a 64-bit processing unit. The iPad mini 2 has a little bit better looking screen than Nokia Lumia 2520, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a better 1536 x 2048 resolution.
Lumia 2520 captures a little bit better videos and photos than iPad mini 2, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Lumia 2520 also has a much higher resolution camera in the back and a way larger camera aperture. IPad mini 2 has a very superior storage for games and applications than Lumia 2520, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 counts with greater battery life than iPad mini 2, because it has 8000mAh of battery capacity instead of 6471mAh.
Although iPad mini 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Lumia 2520, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lumia 2520. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the iPad mini 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Lumia 2520, letting go some specifications.
