The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 67.9, which is a lot better than the Nvidia SHIELD's 54.3 global score. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's construction is a little lighter and somewhat thinner than Nvidia SHIELD. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features just a bit better processing power than Nvidia SHIELD. They have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a better looking screen than Nvidia SHIELD, because it has a quite greater pixel count per inch of display, a better 1600 x 2560px resolution and a bit larger display.
