Nvidia SHIELD is a mid-end portable tablet, which features an extremely fast 2.2 GHz Quad-Core processing unit, a pretty big 8-inches touch-screen, and two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 5 megapixels front facing camera.
This tablet is just 0.36" thick, making it one of the thinnest portable tablets on sale. Whereas this tablet just has 8.8" long, it manages to pack a 8" display. Nvidia appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 13.76 ounces tablet.
Nvidia equipped this tablet with a nice 8-inches display, and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 , which makes all photos and videos look very good.
This device is powered by a high-tech 2.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU, packed into a NVIDIA Tegra K1 chip with a big 2 GB of RAM. A great point of this tablet is its 32 GB huge internal memory and a slot for an external memory card, which allows you to install lots of apps, games, pictures and videos without even thinking about running out of space at all.
The Nvidia SHIELD includes Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices as a mobile mobile hotspot), 4G LTE fast connection type and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSPA and EDGE technologies. This tablet uses a Micro SIM card for GSM services.
The Nvidia SHIELD has two cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 5 MP front camera. The camera also has HDR mode and auto-focus.
The Nvidia SHIELD also includes a handful of cool characteristics like Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
