The Microsoft Surface RT is a bit better than the Nvidia SHIELD, with a 58.4 score against 54.3. The Microsoft Surface RT body is just a little thicker and notably heavier than the Nvidia SHIELD. The Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT OS, while Nvidia SHIELD has Android OS. Nvidia SHIELD has a bit faster processor than Microsoft Surface RT, although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, they both have a Quad-Core CPU and 2 GB of RAM.
Nvidia SHIELD counts with a better looking screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1920 x 1200px resolution and a much better screen density.
