Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 8.9 is just a bit better than OSCAL Pad 13, having a 58.1 score against 57.3. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 design is older, just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than the OSCAL Pad 13. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the older 3.0 version while OSCAL Pad 13 has Android 12 version.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a very superior hardware performance than OSCAL Pad 13, although it has an inferior number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a better looking screen than OSCAL Pad 13, although it has a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280px, a quite inferior number of pixels per inch in the display and a little bit smaller display.

OSCAL Pad 13 counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. OSCAL Pad 13 has a lot better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back camera with much more MP.

The OSCAL Pad 13 features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a 7680mAh battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OSCAL Pad 13, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the OSCAL Pad 13. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the OSCAL Pad 13, letting go some features and specs.
