OSCAL Pad 15 is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, getting a 64.4 score against 58.8. The OSCAL Pad 15 is a a little lighter and thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the OSCAL Pad 15 has a more recent 13 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0, offering a couple nice extra features.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a little more vivid screen than OSCAL Pad 15, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a little bit higher display density. OSCAL Pad 15 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.

OSCAL Pad 15 counts with a greater hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more cores. OSCAL Pad 15 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a way higher 13 MP resolution camera. The OSCAL Pad 15 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a 36 percent bigger battery size.
