OSCAL Spider 8 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, having a 64.4 score against 61.7. OSCAL Spider 8's design is a lot newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's, although it's incredibly thicker and heavier. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the OSCAL Spider 8 has the newer 13 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1.

The OSCAL Spider 8 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a much larger screen and a higher screen density. The OSCAL Spider 8 counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB.

The OSCAL Spider 8 features a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with 7 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores. The OSCAL Spider 8 captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a camera in the back with a much higher 13 MP resolution.

OSCAL Spider 8 counts with a way better battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 225% bigger battery capacity.
