OSCAL Spider 8 has a general score of 64.4, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 general score. Although the OSCAL Spider 8 is newer than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, it's incredibly thicker and a lot heavier. These tablets come with Android OS, but OSCAL Spider 8 has 13 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it gives a lot of extra features and a performance increase.
The OSCAL Spider 8 counts with a much greater performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of faster cores. OSCAL Spider 8 has just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot better 1200 x 1920px resolution, a little larger display and more pixels per screen inch.
The OSCAL Spider 8 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1 TB and 128 GB internal memory. OSCAL Spider 8 captures greater photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
