LG G Pad 8.0 has an overall score of 58.6, which is slightly better than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1's overall score of 54.4. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but LG G Pad 8.0 has the newer 5.0 version while Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has Android 4.0 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks.
LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a bit better performance than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a faster 450 MHz graphics processor and a greater number of cores. LG G Pad 8.0 has a little bit better screen than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because it has a quite larger display, a higher resolution of 1280 x 800px and a bit higher display density.
LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit more memory capacity for applications and games than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 captures much clearer photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The LG G Pad 8.0 features a much better battery performance than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1.
LG G Pad 8.0 costs more money than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
