Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is a lot better than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1's general score of 54.4. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has Android 4.0 version, so it gives you some nice extra features.

Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Note 8.0, although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024px, a just a bit lower display density and a little bit smaller screen. Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a faster CPU than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because it has a larger amount of RAM, a higher number of cores (and faster) and a faster graphics co-processor working at 1.06 gigahertz.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a camera that's just as good as the camera in Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, although the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a camera with lot less MP.
