Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a bit better than the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, getting a 58.1 score against 54.4. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has older 3.0 version and Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has Android 4.0 version. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have 2 CPU cores, the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 also has a graphics processor.

The Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 and the Galaxy Tab 8.9 both count with incredibly similar displays, and although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a higher 800 x 1280px resolution and a bigger display, they both have a better number of pixels per display inch. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a much better battery duration than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1.

Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 8.9, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, letting go some specifications.
