Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a bit better than the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, having a global score of 58.8 against 54.4. Both tablets in this review use the same Android 4.0 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding OS features. The Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 also has an additional graphics co-processor.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 both count with incredibly similar screens, and although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a larger display and a higher resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, they both have a better count of pixels per inch in the display. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 32 GB.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 captures way better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
