Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab has a score of 58.6, which is a little bit better than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1's global score of 54.4. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version while Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has Android 4.0 version. Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has a superior processor than Galaxy Tab, because it has an additional GPU, a larger number of faster cores and 512 MB more RAM memory.
Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab. Both have the same amount of pixels per screen inch, a screen of the same size and the same exact resolution of 600 x 1024. Samsung Galaxy Tab has a bit more memory to install games and applications than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1 captures better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab, because it has a much better 13 MP resolution back camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with a way better battery duration than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1.
Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Panasonic Toughpad JT-B1, letting go a couple specs and features.
