Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate is way better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a score of 79.3 against 65. Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 works with Windows 8 OS. The Google Pixel Slate construction is newer and thinner than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's, but it is also heavier.
The Google Pixel Slate features just a little better performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel Slate also has more RAM memory. Google Pixel Slate features just a bit better looking display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same display brightness, the Google Pixel Slate also has a lot more pixels per screen inch, a way higher 3000 x 2000 pixels resolution and a larger screen.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Google Pixel Slate and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 have quite similar batteries. Google Pixel Slate features a way better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Google Pixel Slate also has a way more megapixels back facing camera.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
