Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a global score of 65, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s general score of 61.4. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) comes with Android 4.1 operating system. Samsung ATIV Tab 3's body is newer, somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also has a little bit higher pixel amount in each inch in the screen and a slightly higher resolution of 768 x 1366px. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has a lot worse 3 MP resolution back-facing camera and a lot lower 1280x720 video definition. Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much better battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
