Comparison review
The Apple iPad 3 has a general score of 71.1, which is a little bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 5's global score of 69.2. The Apple iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with Windows 8 OS. Apple iPad 3's body is a little thinner and lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, even though they were only released with a few months difference.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with just a bit better processing power than iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 also has more RAM memory. IPad 3 features a much better looking screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot better pixel amount per display inch.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than iPad 3, because it has 64 GB more internal storage. IPad 3 features a superior battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a 11560mAh battery size. IPad 3 captures much better photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, although it has a much less mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Apple iPad 3 is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung ATIV Tab 5. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
