Comparison review
The iPad 4 has a score of 70.8, which is slightly better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5's 69.2 general score. IPad 4 works with iOS 7.x OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has Windows 8 OS. The iPad 4 is a somewhat lighter and a bit thinner tablet than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. The iPad 4 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the iPad 4 also counts with a graphics processor.
The Apple iPad 4 features a sharper screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and way more pixels per inch of display. The Apple iPad 4 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, although it has a much less megapixels back camera.
The Apple iPad 4 and Samsung ATIV Tab 5 have really similar memory capacity for applications and games, and although the Apple iPad 4 has no slot for an external memory card, they both have equal internal storage capacity. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a much better battery life than iPad 4.
Although iPad 4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung ATIV Tab 5. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
