IPad Air 2 is much better than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, with a overall score of 79.3 against 69.2. The iPad Air 2 body is a lot newer, way lighter and thinner than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5. IPad Air 2 has iOS 8.x OS, and Samsung ATIV Tab 5 comes with Windows 8 OS. IPad Air 2 features a sharper display than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per screen inch and a way higher resolution of 2048 x 1536px.
The Apple iPad Air 2 features a bit superior processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has 1 lesser and slower cores, and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Apple iPad Air 2 also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
