IPad mini 4 has a global score of 75.6, which is just a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5's overall score of 69.2. The iPad mini 4 design is notably newer, much thinner and a lot lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. IPad mini 4 comes with iOS 9.x OS, and Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with Windows 8 OS.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has just a bit better performance than iPad mini 4, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 also has a larger number of cores (and faster). IPad mini 4 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater pixels amount per inch of display and a lot higher resolution of 2048 x 1536.
The Apple iPad mini 4 has as much storage capacity to store more apps and games as Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although the Apple iPad mini 4 has no slot for SD memory cards, they both have equal internal memory. IPad mini 4 has superior battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a 5124mAh battery size.
The iPad mini 4 shoots way better videos and photos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. They have the same resolution back-facing camera.
The Apple iPad mini 4 is more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
