Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate has a general score of 79.3, which is much better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5's 69.2 score. The Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS operating system, while Samsung ATIV Tab 5 comes with Windows 8 operating system. The Google Pixel Slate is a newer tablet, and it's also just a little lighter and incredibly thinner than Samsung ATIV Tab 5.
Google Pixel Slate features a bit better processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have 2 CPU cores, the Google Pixel Slate also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Google Pixel Slate features a more vivid display than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a little larger screen, a much better pixel number per inch of display and a lot higher resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels.
The Google Pixel Slate captures a lot better photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5. Both have a camera with an 8 mega pixels. The Google Pixel Slate counts with much more storage for applications and games than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a very superior battery life than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung ATIV Tab 5. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
