Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab has an overall score of 66.7, which is better than the Acer Iconia W510's 57.5 global score. Both devices in this comparison use Windows OS, but Samsung Ativ Tab has newer RT version while Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8 version. Samsung Ativ Tab's body has the same thickness than the Acer Iconia W510, but it's just a little bit lighter.
Acer Iconia W510 features a screen that is just as good as the Samsung Ativ Tab one, both have a screen of the same size, a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display and an equal resolution of 768 x 1366px. Samsung Ativ Tab has a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has more internal memory capacity.
Acer Iconia W510 counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and 2 cpu cores, the Acer Iconia W510 also has a better GPU running at 533 MHz. Acer Iconia W510 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a way better 8 mega-pixels resolution.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a superior battery performance than Acer Iconia W510, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia W510, letting go a couple specs and features.
