Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is a little bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, with a 66.7 score against 62.3. The Samsung Ativ Tab body is way heavier and thicker than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT OS, while Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 comes with Android 4.4 OS. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a greater processing power than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has a larger number of faster cores and a much better graphics co-processor working at 700 megahertz.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a much sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a lot greater amount of pixels per inch of display. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 64 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a very superior battery performance than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 102 percent more battery size. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's camera is just as good as the Samsung Ativ Tab one, both have a 5 mega pixels resolution camera.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, resigning some features and specs.
