Samsung Ativ Tab has an overall score of 66.7, which is a bit better than the iPad 9.7-inch's score of 65.4. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT OS, while iPad 9.7-inch works with iOS 13.x OS. Even being the best in this comparison, Samsung Ativ Tab's design is extremely older, heavier and somewhat thicker than the iPad 9.7-inch.
The iPad 9.7-inch has a little more vivid display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 64 GB.
The Apple iPad 9.7-inch counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, they both have 2 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount. The iPad 9.7-inch counts with a little longer battery duration than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has an 8% bigger battery size.
The iPad 9.7-inch captures a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a lot higher 8 megapixels resolution.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the iPad 9.7-inch, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPad 9.7-inch. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the iPad 9.7-inch, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
