Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is slightly better than iPod Touch 5th Generation, getting a 66.7 score against 62.7. The Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system, and iPod Touch 5th Generation counts with iOS 7.x operating system. Although it's the best tablet in this review, Samsung Ativ Tab's body is incredibly thicker and much heavier than the iPod Touch 5th Generation.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a little better performance than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have a 400 megahertz graphics processor and 2 CPU cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a greater amount of RAM memory. IPod Touch 5th Generation counts with a much sharper display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a quite lower 1136 x 640px resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better display pixels density.
The iPod Touch 5th Generation takes a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the iPod Touch 5th Generation also has a much higher 1920x1080 video definition. Samsung Ativ Tab features a very superior memory for applications and games than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a very superior battery lifetime than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has an 8200mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, letting go some features and specs.
