The Samsung Ativ Tab has a global score of 66.7, which is much better than Asus VivoTab's score of 57.5. The Samsung Ativ Tab body is lighter but a bit thicker than the Asus VivoTab, and they were released only a couple of months apart. Both devices we compare here come with Windows OS, but Samsung Ativ Tab has a more recent RT version while Asus VivoTab has Windows 8, so it gives some extra features.
The Asus VivoTab features just a bit better performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM and a Dual-Core processor, the Asus VivoTab also has a better graphics processing unit working at 533 megahertz. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a little more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 768 x 1366 resolution, the Samsung Ativ Tab also counts with a little bit better quantity of pixels in each inch of display.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Asus VivoTab. Both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Ativ Tab has a really longer battery duration than Asus VivoTab. Asus VivoTab features a bit better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality and a way more mega-pixels back camera.
The Samsung Ativ Tab costs a lot more money than the Asus VivoTab, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
