Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is much better than Asus VivoTab Smart, having a overall score of 66.7 against 58.7. Both of these devices include Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung Ativ Tab has newer RT version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8. Samsung Ativ Tab's construction is just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Asus VivoTab Smart.
Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both of them have a better pixels count per inch of screen, the same resolution of 768 x 1366 pixels and a display with the same size. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Asus VivoTab Smart. Both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a bit better processor than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and 2 CPU cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a much better graphics processing unit working at 533 megahertz. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much longer battery performance than Asus VivoTab Smart.
The Asus VivoTab Smart takes greater photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality and a back-facing camera with way more MP.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus VivoTab Smart. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Asus VivoTab Smart, letting go a couple features and specs.
