Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab has an overall score of 66.7, which is better than Google Nexus 7's 59.3 global score. Even though Samsung Ativ Tab and Google Nexus 7 were only released 2 months apart, the Samsung Ativ Tab body is way heavier but also thinner. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT OS, while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 OS.
The Google Nexus 7's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Samsung Ativ Tab, because although the Google Nexus 7 has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a faster graphics processing unit working at 416 megahertz and a greater number of cores (although they are slower). The Google Nexus 7 features a better display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little bit lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density.
Samsung Ativ Tab captures way better pictures and videos than Google Nexus 7. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much better memory to install games and applications than Google Nexus 7, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 64 GB and 32 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a really longer battery life than Google Nexus 7, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity against 4325mAh.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Nexus 7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save some dollars and buy the Google Nexus 7, giving up some features and specifications.
