Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is a little bit better than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, having a 66.7 score against 62.7. Despite being the best device in this review, the Samsung Ativ Tab design is older, thicker and noticeably heavier than LG G Pad F2 8.0. Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system, while LG G Pad F2 8.0 counts with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.
LG G Pad F2 8.0 counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 also counts with more cores. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a little sharper display than LG G Pad F2 8.0, because although it has a just a little worse screen density, it also counts with a slightly better 768 x 1366 resolution and a bigger display.
The Samsung Ativ Tab and the LG G Pad F2 8.0 both have really similar cameras, and although the LG G Pad F2 8.0 has a much better 1920x1080 video quality, they both have a back facing camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution. LG G Pad F2 8.0 has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has just 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a way better battery lifetime than LG G Pad F2 8.0, because it has a 173% more battery size.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad F2 8.0. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG G Pad F2 8.0, resigning some features and specs.
