Samsung Ativ Tab has a global score of 66.7, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1's global score of 65.5. Samsung Ativ Tab is a a bit lighter tablet than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, but they are equally thin. Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT OS, and Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 has Android 3.2 OS.
Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a just a little inferior number of pixels per inch of screen and a little bit worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, they both have a screen of the same size. The Samsung Ativ Tab features a much better memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because although it has a worse 400 MHz graphics co-processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung Ativ Tab also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit superior battery lifetime than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, because it has a 17% greater battery size.
The Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1 takes way better photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both of them have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video resolution.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Motorola Droid XYBoard 10.1, letting go some specs and features.
