Comparison review
Samsung Ativ Tab is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, having a 66.7 score against 62.7. The Samsung Ativ Tab is a a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter tablet than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, although they were only released with a couple months difference. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT operating system, while Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 works with Android 4.0 operating system.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have a 400 megahertz graphics co-processor and the same number of cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has more RAM. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Samsung Ativ Tab have incredibly similar displays, and although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a bit less pixels per inch of display and a bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, they both have a same size display.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 56 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a way better 5 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
Samsung Ativ Tab features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has an 8200mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
