Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), getting a 66.7 score against 61.4. The Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT OS, while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with Android 4.1 OS. Even though the Samsung Ativ Tab and the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) were released with only 6 months difference, the Samsung Ativ Tab is a bit thinner and just a little lighter.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a graphics co-processor and 1 GB more RAM. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a bit higher 768 x 1366 resolution and a little greater screen pixel density.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features much more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a bit better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a lot worse resolution back facing camera and a worse video resolution.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has an 8200mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
