Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 score. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT OS, and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1 OS. Samsung Ativ Tab's body is thinner but noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a much lower 600 x 1024px resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better quantity of pixels in each display inch. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 56 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have a 400 megahertz GPU and a Dual-Core processor, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Ativ Tab has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a back camera with a much lower 3.2 mega-pixels resolution and a worse 1280x720 video quality.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go a couple specs and features.
