Samsung Ativ Tab is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, having a global score of 66.7 against 58.8. Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT OS, and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 OS. Samsung Ativ Tab's body is newer, but a lot heavier and a little bit thicker than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a little lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little greater screen pixels density.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Ativ Tab shoots clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much better memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 64 GB. Samsung Ativ Tab features a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity instead of 6100mAh.
