The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is much better than the Samsung Ativ Tab, getting a global score of 76.7 against 66.7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 construction is much newer, way thinner and lighter than Samsung Ativ Tab. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 works with Android 13 operating system, and Samsung Ativ Tab works with Windows RT operating system.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a way better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Tab S8 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a much higher pixels density, a quite larger screen and a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560px.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a lot higher (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with a way better 13 megapixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab features just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab S8, because it has an 8200mAh battery size against 8000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a bit more expensive than the Samsung Ativ Tab, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
