Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a global score of 64.9, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenPad Z8's 61.9 global score. Even being the best in this review, it must be told that it is also a lot older, incredibly thicker and a lot heavier. The Asus ZenPad Z8 has a really superior performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores.
The Asus ZenPad Z8 features a brighter screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixel count per display inch and a better resolution of 1536 x 2048. Samsung ATIV Tab 7 features a much bigger storage to store more games and applications than Asus ZenPad Z8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 240 GB more internal memory capacity.
Asus ZenPad Z8 shoots way better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because it has a camera with lot more mega pixels. The Asus ZenPad Z8 has a way better battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 7.
