The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a bit better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 7, having a 68.3 score against 64.9. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a newer portable tablet, and it's also noticeably thinner and lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 7. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) works with Android 8.1 Oreo OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 7 comes with Windows 8 OS.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a lot better 1080 x 1920 resolution, a bit higher display density and a much larger screen.
