Galaxy Book 12-inch is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), having an 80 score against 68.3. Galaxy Book 12-inch has Windows 10 operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Galaxy Book 12-inch is an older and a lot heavier tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but Samsung was able to make it somewhat thinner anyway.

The Galaxy Book 12-inch counts with a better performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has 2 less cores , it also counts with 6 GB more RAM. The Galaxy Book 12-inch has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a just a little greater pixels number in each inch in the screen, a lot higher 2160 x 1440 pixels resolution and a lot larger display.

The Galaxy Book 12-inch features a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds 144 GB smaller, it also counts with 224 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch, although it has a lower video definition, a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photography and videos and a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera.
