Galaxy Book2 has a global score of 81.9, which is better than the Galaxy Note 8.0's global score of 69.2. The Galaxy Book2 comes with Windows 10 S operating system, and Galaxy Note 8.0 works with Android 4.4.2 operating system. Even though the Galaxy Book2 is a lot heavier than the Galaxy Note 8.0, it's a little bit thinner and notably newer.

Galaxy Book2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 both feature incredibly similar screens, although the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, a way smaller screen and a little bit worse pixel density. Galaxy Book2 has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.

Galaxy Book2 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a way better video resolution and a way higher 8 megapixels resolution back camera. The Galaxy Book2 has much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 112 GB more internal memory and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Book2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Note 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Note 8.0. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Book2, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Note 8.0, resigning a couple features and specs.
