Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a 75.8 score against 59.7. Even though the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much older and noticeably heavier than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), it's design is still thinner. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has older 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a bigger display, way more pixels per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a bit faster processor than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory and 4 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a GPU. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) shoots much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels and a much better 1920x1080 video resolution.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), else you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), letting go a couple specs and features.
