Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a lot better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, with a 75.8 score against 61.2. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a newer 4.4.2 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, so it provides some extra features and enhanced performance. Even being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is an older, just a bit thicker and extremely heavier tablet than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a bit faster CPU than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 1 GB more RAM and an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a little sharper screen than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a just a bit higher pixels quantity per inch in the screen, a larger screen and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560.
