Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is slightly better than Google Nexus 7 (2013), having a overall score of 75.8 against 70.8. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) design is extremely heavier but just a little bit thinner than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and both were only released with a couple of months difference. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version and Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a bit better display than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a way bigger screen and a better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 64 GB.
Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back camera with lot less mega pixels resolution. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has an 8220mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Nexus 7 (2013), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Nexus 7 (2013). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Google Nexus 7 (2013), and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
