The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is slightly better than Google Nexus 7 (2013), having a overall score of 75.8 against 70.8. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) design is extremely heavier but just a little bit thinner than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and both were only released with a couple of months difference. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version and Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0.

If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Google Nexus 7 (2013), and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
