Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a score of 75.8, which is slightly better than Google Nexus 9's overall score of 74.5. These tablets work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the older 4.4.2 version and Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0 version. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a way heavier portable tablet than the Google Nexus 9, but both have the same thickness.

Google Nexus 9 features a screen that is very similar to the display in Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although the Google Nexus 9 has a little bit worse pixel density, a bit smaller screen and a bit worse 2048 x 1536px resolution. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 64 GB.

The Google Nexus 9 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), because although it has a lower number of 2300 MHz cores, doesn't have a graphics processor and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with greater battery lifetime than Google Nexus 9, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.

The Google Nexus 9 takes better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014). Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same resolution camera and the same video resolution.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Nexus 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Nexus 9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Google Nexus 9, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
