Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is way better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), with a global score of 75.8 against 60.7. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1, providing the user some nice extra features. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s construction is newer and noticeably thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s, although it is heavier.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a much more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a higher number of cores, a graphics co-processor and 2 GB more RAM. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a much bigger screen, a much better 1600 x 2560px resolution and much more pixels per display inch.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has slightly more memory for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a much better resolution back camera and a way higher (Full HD) video resolution.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), letting go some features and specs.
